Private home - Harbor loft Rotterdam

The project I am currently working on is furnishing a private home for Family Ten Have, a couple of two men who want an interior with Hotel Chique style. The harbour loft house is located on the Nassauhaven in Rotterdam.

The assignment is as follows,

- Develop the floor plan of the ground floor with the following requirements:

- A cooking island with seating area and the latest kitchen gadgets.

- A smooth transition between kitchen and living space and the kitchen equipment not visible.

- The TV may not be in view, but it must be present in the background.

- Sufficient storage space for the large collection of art books.

- The following favorite brands are used in the design. Ligne Roset, Minotti, MDF Italia, Foscarini, Luceplan, Artemide and Gaggenau.

I let the hotel chic style flow through the entire interior with the main colours: brown, beige and black. Accent colours; ocher yellow, orange (rust) and gold.

The space forms a whole by making the interior fit with the smell and feeling upon entering.
